The Mission of AIS is to create a nurturing environment where students, faculty and families work together to develop academic excellence, ethical behavior and personal growth. The Preschool takes pride in keeping classes’ small in number thus enabling individual attention to be given along with the pursuit of academic excellence.
We also focus on the social/emotional development of your preschooler encouraging them to become more independent in their self-help skills which serves to enhance self-esteem as well as self-confidence. Life-long learning begins in the Preschool where critical thinking is emphasized and creativity and self-expression are at the center of our teaching methodology along with learning centers.
Assemblies are held on a weekly basis where students perform songs, poems, and other types of fun activities. Portfolios are kept on each student and work is placed in the portfolio on a monthly basis. This enables parents and teachers to monitor the growth and productivity of each child in the Preschool.
Our teachers are not simply highly qualified but also dedicated to providing the best learning environment for your Preschooler. We take great pride in our curriculum which offers French, Arabic, English, Math, Science, Computer, PE, Art and Music. Our curriculum also includes peace education, diversity, and character education.
