Adma International School (AIS) was established in 1997.  It is located at an altitude of 570 meters above the sea in Fatka, Lebanon, adjoining the Mar Nouhra Monastery.  We take pride in our physical environment.  AIS overlooks the beautiful bay of Jounieh and the Mediterranean Sea, in  what is an entirely green landscape and residential neighborhood.

The school serves two different populations.  The first consists of typical Lebanese students pursuing the Lebanese curriculum while the second is designed to accommodate the American High School Program.  Many of our students' families have lived abroad and are returning to Lebanon.  Additionally, Learning Support/Individualized Programs are offered to accommodate the needs of individual learners in order to promote inclusion.

AIS is a day and boarding co-educational school (Nursery-Grade 12).  It is a learner-centered campus in both philosophy and objectives with a multi-national faculty and student body as well as an international approach to academic programs and services.  AIS is associated with Learner’s World International Schools (LWIS) and are multi-national in their philosophy, curriculum, personnel, students and range of offerings.  They bring together individuals from different cultural and religious backgrounds guided by human rights education.
